BIKE RENTAL

The only Bike rental station of Iten - Home of Champions is now available at The Swiss Side Shop. Mountain bikes of all size are available for athletes, coaches and visitors aiming for discovering the place by bike.

 

We propose you some quality Giant bikes, all frequently revised and cleaned. On demande, you can also rent out some full equipment (bike kits, helmets), shoes excepted. If you are a regular biker, it is advised to bring your own pedals from home.

 

In case of mechanical issue during your rental, we will provide you a replacement bike in the meanwhile (subject to availabilities). Any mechanical issue following a normal use of the bike is our responsibility. All repairing related to an inappropriate use of the bike by the user will be charged.​

Mountain bikes :

Our bike station provides quality Giant mountain bikes all year round. The available sizes are S, M, L & XL, all with 27.5 and 29 inches wheels, aluminium frame and double-sided pedals (flat and clips Shimano SPD).

 

In short: 

  • 11 Giant MTB size S to XL

  • Long term rental possible (30+ days)

  • Rental opened to everyone (no need to stay at The Swiss Side)

  • Group rental possible (booking needed)

  • Guiding tours with local riders organized on demand

  • Connexion with local bike group possible on demand

Gravel bikes :

Our bike station provides quality gravel bikes all year round. The available sizes are S, M & L, all with 28 inches wheels, light frame and double-sided pedals (flat and clips Shimano SPD).

 

In short: 

  • 4 gravel bike (Scott, Rondo, Asylium)

  • Size S, M, L

  • Long term rental possible (30+ days)

  • Rental opened to everyone (no need to stay at The Swiss Side)

  • Group rental possible (booking needed)

  • Guiding tours with local riders organized on demand

  • Connexion with local bike group possible on demand

Every rental attracts a caution of KES 5,000 (Kenyans) / 50 USD (foreigners), as well as an original ID / passport. Rates are as follow :
