General Conditions of Sales (GCS)

​Check-in from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Check-out time by 12:00 AM. Luggage can be left at the shop if your flight is on Evening.

Breakfast is served from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM and can be served earlier on demand.

Lunch is served from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.

Dinner is served from 7:00 to 8:30 PM.

Most of our guests are athletes. Complete silence has to be observed from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Guests are expected to behave with discretion and respect towards The Swiss Side staff and other guests all time. This is also available for visitors (i.e. outsiders), who can be excluded from our camp anytime.

Our camp is strictly non-smoking. Smokers have to exit the perimeter to smoke.

Pets are only allowed with prior consultation and permission from the management.

Visitors are allowed to enter our common area in the presence of a guest only. The visitors are not allowed on the accommodations area. It is the responsibility of the guest to ensure that the visitor respects our internal rules. In case of troubles or prejudice to our center, the guest will be hold as responsible and the visitor excluded from our place.

Kindly keep the compound clean and use trash bins to throw your wastes.

As a respect for the community of Iten, we ask our guests to use water and electricity in reasonable proportions. We especially ask to switch off the lights when you leave a room and not to extend the showers to more than 10 minutes.

Though we put high emphasis on security, we cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss of private belongings. Our CCTV is available on request but does not represent a security proof warranty.

Our guests benefit of special prices on massages and physio treatments. These cares are dispensed in our massage rooms and are not allowed to be done in the flats for hygienic and conveniency reasons. The use of massage rooms by guests for commercial purpose is strictly prohibited.

The spa bath can only be used in the presence of a staff of The Swiss Side. The guests are not allowed to turn on any facility by themselves, nor change any setting. In case of disrespect of these guidelines, the management takes the right to deny access to the spa and / or ask for an amount to the guest for the damage caused.

The Swiss Side does not return any amount in all cases. If a guest decides to shorten his stay, to change his meal plan or does not use the services he paid for, no reimbursement will occur in accordance with our GCS. In the specific cases of meals, a credit with a validity of 12 month can be arranged.

The Swiss Side decides the exchange rate based on daily interbank exchange rate, with a fee of 3%.

For example : if 1 $ = 130 ksh, the determinant rate will be 1 $ * 1,03 = 133,9 Ksh.
