Since October 2022, The Swiss Side Iten owns a Toyota Hiace 4 wheels drive (see picture above). A vehicle that can be rent for your airport transfers, as well as your training in Eldoret or Moiben (long run).
Traveling in Kenya might be hectic ; most of the vehicles are not frequently revised and offer few warrantees for the passengers in terms of safety. Drivers are rarely on time and keep delaying the trip while the passengers wait inside the car.
To avoid such inconveniences, The Swiss Side recently acquired a new Toyota Hiace tour van. A vehicle that allows 8 passengers to seat comfortably, a real advantage for long trips. The vehicle is 4 wheels drive and features an opened roof, allowing our guests to use it for their excursions like safaris to Lake Nakuru National Park, Mount Elgon National Park, Rimoi Reserve, Torok Waterfall or Lake Baringo. We also propose several days tours to Masai Mara and Amboseli National Park.
In addition to these tours, our van is available to pick / drop you at the airport, and to follow you during your trainings.
The vehicle is driven by Titus Kibet, our official and registered driver. Dynamic driver with insurance, he offers all the guarantees you can hope for. With more than 10 years of experience as a driver in Iten and Nairobi, he knows Kenya and especially its national parks like the back of his hand.
